Andrea Aghini, der italienische Rennfahrer, der 13 Jahre lang an der Rallye-Weltmeisterschaft (WRC) teilnahm und 117 Punkte, vier Podiumsplätze und den Sieg bei der Rallye Sanremo einfuhr, kündigte seine Teilnahme an der Rally Clásico Isla de Mallorca Puerto Portals in der Kategorie Pre‘ 90 Speed am Steuer eines Lancia Delta HF Integrale von 1990 an.

Aghini, der auch das Race of Champions gewann, nachdem er Carlos Sainz im Halbfinale und Colin McRae im Finale besiegt hatte, debütierte 1986 in der Rallye-Weltmeisterschaft (WRC) mit einem Renault 5 GT Turbo. Erst 1991 setzte er sich dank eines Vertrags mit dem Jolly-Team hinter das Steuer eines Lancia Delta Integrale.

Die 21. Rally Isla Mallorca startet vom 6. – 8. März 2025 in Puerto Portals.

Andrea Aghini starts in the Lancia Delta Integrale

Andrea Aghini, the Italian driver who competed in the World Rally Championship (WRC) for 13 years, scoring 117 points, four podium finishes and victory in the Sanremo Rally, has announced his participation in the Rally Clásico Isla de Mallorca Puerto Portals in the Pre‘ 90 Speed category at the wheel of a 1990 Lancia Delta HF Integrale.

Aghini, who also won the Race of Champions after beating Carlos Sainz in the semi-final and Colin McRae in the final, made his debut in the 1986 World Rally Championship (WRC) in a Renault 5 GT Turbo. It was not until 1991 that he got behind the wheel of a Lancia Delta Integrale thanks to a contract with the Jolly team.

The 21st Rally Isla Mallorca starts from 6 – 8 March 2025 in Puerto Portals.
