Das portugiesische Unternehmen De La Espada, das f\u00fcr zeitlose M\u00f6bel und exquisite Holzarbeiten bekannt ist, bekr\u00e4ftigt sein Engagement f\u00fcr den Erhalt der portugiesischen Handwerkskunst und Nachhaltigkeit mit seiner erstmaligen Pr\u00e4senz auf dem Xtant vom 9. bis 13. Mai 2025. Das Festival des Textilhandwerks bringt in Can Vivot in Palma Textilk\u00fcnstler, Handwerksmeister, Designer, Sammler und Kulturliebhaber zusammen.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In Palma wird De La Espada seine Kooperationen mit handwerklichen Textilwerkst\u00e4tten wie Fabricaal und Flores Textile Studio vorstellen, in denen feinste H\u00f6lzer mit 100% handgefertigten Stoffen kombiniert werden. Luis de Oliveira, Mitbegr\u00fcnder von De La Espada, nimmt am 10. Mai um 12 Uhr an dem Vortrag „Erinnerung an das Verm\u00e4chtnis von F\u00e1tima Durkee“<\/strong> teil.<\/p>\n

In der sechsten Ausgabe des Festivals, das sich bereits als unverzichtbares Ereignis im Kalender Palmas und als Leuchtturmprojekt f\u00fcr die Zukunft des verantwortungsvollen Luxus etablierte, wird Xtant 80 K\u00fcnstler aus 29 L\u00e4ndern zusammenbringen, mit besonderem Schwerpunkt auf dem globalen S\u00fcden, Afrika, Lateinamerika und Asien, und unter dem Motto Huaca (heilig\u201c in Quechua), das an die Rolle von Textilien in Ritualen im Laufe der Geschichte und an die Sch\u00f6nheit ihres Herstellungsprozesses erinnert.<\/p>\n

Zum ersten Mal im Jahr 2025 lud die von Gr\u00fcnderin Kavita Parmar geleitete Organisation eine M\u00f6belfirma zur Teilnahme an dieser Textilveranstaltung ein: De La Espada. Sie unterstreicht damit den Wert der kreativen Schnittstelle zwischen Weberei und M\u00f6belhandwerk.<\/p>\n

Zum Programm des XTANT 2025 Festivals<\/h3>\n

– Leadership-Programm (1. – 7. Mai)<\/strong>
\nDas umfassende Programm konzentriert sich auf die Grundpfeiler von XTANT: Bewusstsein, Sch\u00f6nheit, Handwerk, Zeit und Gemeinschaft mit Workshops, Diskussionen und praktischen Aktivit\u00e4ten, die sich mit regenerativen Praktiken, F\u00fchrungsqualit\u00e4ten und der Rolle des Handwerks beim Aufbau einer nachhaltigen Zukunft befassen.<\/p>\n

– Kunst- und Handwerksgalerie in Can Vivot (9. – 13. Mai)<\/strong>
\n\u00dcber 75 Aussteller aus aller Welt pr\u00e4sentieren ihre Arbeiten in historischem Ambiente: Meister des Kunsthandwerks, neue Talente und die Sch\u00f6nheit alter Techniken, die f\u00fcr die heutige Zeit neu erfunden wurden.<\/p>\n

– Programm f\u00fcr geistliche Musik<\/strong>
\nEine inspirierende Reihe von Auff\u00fchrungen globaler Traditionen, die den Geist der HUACA ehren.<\/p>\n

– Workshops (10. – 13. Mai)<\/strong>
\nPraktische Workshops, die von etablierten Meistern geleitet werden und f\u00fcr Menschen aller Niveaus offen sind, bieten Zugang zu einer globalen Erfahrung.<\/p>\n

– Workshop f\u00fcr heilige Textilien im Museum Es Baluard (10. – 13. Mai)<\/strong>
\nEin Raum, in dem Textiltechniken als Tr\u00e4ger der Spiritualit\u00e4t erforscht werden, mit Vorf\u00fchrungen von K\u00fcnstlern, die Tradition und Moderne miteinander verbinden.<\/p>\n
