Hiking with spectacular sea views<\/strong><\/p>\n

Slow travel is in. The breathtaking landscapes along the coast of Mallorca can be easily explored on foot. Qualified trekking or canyoning guides show remote routes through waterfalls and caves \u2014 for those looking for real adventure.<\/p>\n

There are two easy routes for hikers near Palma. In the south-west near Andratx, a circular trail leads over eleven kilometres from Sant Elm past the ruins of the Trappist monastery La Trapa with views of the \u2018dragon island\u2019 Dragonera.<\/p>\n

If you want to visit the famous Valldemossa Charterhouse first, you can take Archduke Ludwig Salvator’s bridleways to the Mirador de Can Costa. It takes around four hours to walk around the famous mountain village, where Hollywood star Michael Douglas also has a second home.<\/p>\n

Here you will also find novelties such as the \u2018bicipaddleboard\u2019, a bicycle on a SUP board, or e-foiling boards and jetcars that can be hired by the hour.<\/p>\n

Motor or sailing yachts take you to secluded bays and offshore islands that cannot be reached on foot. An experienced captain steers the charter boat while guests go snorkelling on their day trips before a picnic is served on board. If you want to be romantic on a special occasion, the boats depart later and you can watch the sun go down at sea.<\/p>\n
