For anyone who is anyone, the date is a regular fixture in their sailing calendar. Each year, a faction within the international yachting scene sets aside the end of June for Palma de Mallorca and the spectacular Superyacht Cup, an elite regatta on a par with those held in St Barths or Newport (Rhode Island). Someone who does not come to the Island just for the Superyacht Cup, but has been regularly commuting backwards and forwards for the past two years, is Dutchman Andre Hoek, owner of Hoek Design.
